How to Order: Trade Terms

Clear terms make first orders easy. Below are ONIC’s standard export terms; any point can be adapted in your quotation.

Order in 6 steps

Minimum order quantity (MOQ)

Herbs, flowers & seeds1 MT per item (several items can be combined in one container)
Cold-pressed vegetable oils200 kg per item
Essential oils & absolutes5–25 kg per item, depending on the oil
Extracts25 kg per item
First trial orderSmaller quantities accepted; price depends on quantity

Lead times

  • From stock: 2–3 weeks after order confirmation and advance payment.
  • New crop or special cut: 3–5 weeks.
  • Private label: 4–6 weeks after label approval.

Prices & Incoterms 2020

  • FOB Alexandria, Damietta or Port Said – our standard basis.
  • CFR / CIF to your port on request.
  • EXW our factory in 10th of Ramadan City for buyers with their own forwarder.
  • Prices in USD or EUR, valid 15 days from the date of the offer (crop prices move).

Payment terms

  • New customers: 30% advance by bank transfer, 70% before shipment or against copy of the bill of lading.
  • Or irrevocable letter of credit (L/C) at sight from a first-class bank.
  • Regular customers: CAD (cash against documents) can be agreed.

Packing

Vegetable oilsHDPE jerrycans or drums, 20–200 L
Essential oilsAluminium bottles, 1–25 kg
LabellingProduct, botanical name, lot number, production date, weight, origin – or as the buyer requires

Documents

  • Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading.
  • Certificate of origin; EUR.1 for the EU; Agadir / Arab free-trade certificates for Arab countries.
  • Phytosanitary certificate where required by the destination.
  • Certificate of analysis for every lot. External accredited laboratory tests (e.g. pesticide residues, microbiology) at extra cost or as agreed.

Samples

  • Free samples up to 250 g per item; courier cost paid by the buyer or deducted from the first order.
  • Pre-shipment sample of the actual lot for approval before loading.

Quality & claims

  • Specifications are confirmed in writing before each order.
  • Claims within 30 days of arrival, with photos and a laboratory report where needed.
  • A retained sample of every lot is kept for one year.

Private label

  • Minimum quantity depends on the pack type.
  • The buyer approves the label design before printing.

These are standard terms; the quotation and pro-forma invoice for each order prevail.
